He explained the many different theories offered about their relationship, going through the different periods of time and how effected by each other and other tribes of the area. He educated the audience on the clan system and how and why the Navajo looks at things differently than most U.S. citizens because of it and their strong beliefs. Exciting research is goin on, hoping to gain new understanding of the people with aerial photographs of a highway system from Chaco Canyon in New Mexico to several points in southeastern Utah.
