The state initially asked that bail be set for the defendant at $50,000, but Ms. White asked that the bail be reduced. She noted that the defendant contacted a neighboring camp after the shooting took place and that he made no attempt to flee from the scene and gave himself up to officials. Also, she said that while he has had past misdemeanor charges, he has always has nt made his court appearances. However, Mr. Johansen said that the incident was apparently a knowing and intentional shooting and that the offense wa3 aggravated and accomplished with the al Fiddler on the Roof, one of most popular musicals ever presented, will be staged at the Emery High School auditorium this week. The musical begins Wednesday, April 3, and runs through Saturday, April 6.
