The Emery; second place Chase Behling, kindergarten, visual arts, son of Loran and Lisa Behling, Ferron; third place Joey Dixon, third grade, visual arts, son of Randall and Ruth Ann Dixon, Emery. In the intermediate division, grades four through six, the winners were: first place Darrell Willson, sixth grade, visual arts, son of Mike and Pat Willson, Ferron; second place Clayton Laulu, sixth grade, literature, son of Tumau and Genice Laulu of Hollie Ferron; third place fourth grade, visThompson, ual arts, daughter of Mark and Valerie Thompson of Ferron. Qualifying for and placing largest number of entries ever, 121, were judged this year and several qualified for l competition. In the primary division, grades kindergarten through third, the winners were: first place Chesney Riddle, liter LIMITED AMNESTY ON TRAFFIC AND OTHER NOVEMBER 20TH MISDEMEANOR WARRANTS THROUGH DECEMBER 1,1989 citizens who have outstanding warrants for their arrest for failure to take care of traffic or other misdemeanor offenses will have an opportunity to resolve those cases during a limited amnesty running from Monday. November 20th through Friday. December 1st. During the amnesty, only the amount of the initial bail on the offense will need to be paid. Any other delinquent charges, or warrant service fees, will be waived and the warrant will be recalled. The Utah courts have scheduled the amnesty to give people an opportunity to clear up warrants before January, 1990, when a new statewide warrants system will go into effect. The new system will provide Utah law enforcement officers with Information on outstanding warrants issued from almost every area of the state. This will increase the likelihood of arrest. The amnesty will not apply to felony offenses, parking tickets in the metropolitan areas, or to warrants issued by the Juvenile Utah Court. Brooke is the daughter of Michael and Marti Morris of Clawson and is 17 years old. She has lived in California and Oregon and most recendents tly lived in Beaver, Utah, where she wrote many articles for the school newspaper. Brooke does well in journalism and she writes many short stories and poems. She is the Spartan yearbook editor this year. Brooke loves music and loves to dance. Emery High Schoot Player of the Week Weston Lemon, kindergarten, is one of the 1 0 district winners in the Reflections contest. He is the son of Hallie and Brenda Lemon of Ferron. San Rafael Bulldogs CITIZENS OF THE WEEK in both very involved school Liza Winget and Brian Christiansen church and sports. Last year Rob lettered in basketball, baseball and football. He was selected this year as a member of the first string on the regional football team. Rob referees for little league football and basketball and is on the Ferron Stake Youth Committee. His main interests are music, drama, reading and of course, 6ports. Rob plans to serve a mission after gra duating and then he will go to BYU to major in dentistry. He would also like to learn to fly. SPONSORED BY have been chosen as San Rafael Junior High School's citizens of the week. Ryan Stilson has been named Player of the Week by coach Todd Jeffs for his performance in the varsity basketball game against Richfield last week in the Marriott Center at BYU. Ryan scored 13 points while playing a very physical game against the Wild- Liza is a member of the Honor Society, and is on the yearbook committee.
