SALT LAKE CITY Ten thousand sets of a photo series illustrating 16 species of Utah wildlife will be made available to the public through a special program sponsored by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and the Intermountain GMC Truck Dealers. Each 8 by 10 12 glossy print features on one side a detailed photograph of the animal. The reverse side gives a description of the species, its diet, habitat, migration and mating habits and full-colo- r, other information. The 16 animals included in the series are the black bear, bam owl, Rocky Mountain elk, Rocky Mountain mule deer, desert bighorn sheep, peregrine falcon, mountain bluebird, Great Basin rattlesnake, tiger salamander, beaver, yellow-belliemarmot, white pelican, yellow crab spider, bobcat, Shiras moose and Mojave desert tortoise. Every year, the Division of Wildlife Resources receives thousands of requests for information about the many s pecies of wildlife native to the state, said Daphne Sewing, d Project WILD coordinator.
