DAVIS Progress editor ORANGEVILLE Emery School Districts teacher student ratio is among the best in the state, according to a report given to the board of education by Superintendent A Ernest Weeks. Our school plans to make this year the best ever. With school pride and school spirit, 1!! Next Thursday, Sept. 14, is our first home football game. That day at 1 p.m. there will be a pep assembly to get the student body excited. We could use support from you if you would like to come. At 1:30 there will be a game against the Helper Rams. Also approved were policies for field trips and excursions, support staff vacations and holidays and a drug-fre- e workplace. The board indicated that it would be interested in helping fund the trip. During the meeting, the board made a presentation to former board member Bill Bacon for his service to the school district.
