Show Emery County Progress Benefit planned for lupus victim Jennifer Cheshire was born in Brigham City, Nov. 4, 1973. She is the oldest of five children, two sisters and two brothers. Jennifer has lived in Emery County for 10 years. She has done well in school, and enjoys school. In fact one her goals is to become a school teacher. She also enjoys reading and writing poems. She has been active in church, for six years, and has in of 4-- II participated in band until the ninth grade. In November of 1987 she started getting a rash on her face and arms. Six weeks later spartan spot a dermatologist told her she had lupus. The type of lupus Jennifer has is the SEE form, it affects more women than men, and usually more black women. In 1988 she had cortisone treatments and is presently in the Rehabilitation Center at Utah Valley Hospital for three to six weeks, trying to get the lupus under control. be lupus has caused her to lose all her hair, and the arthritis has caused her to 1 her stability, affecting lose ability to walk or sit.
