To be successful, its better to keep the number attending the party fairly small. For example, if six guests are invited, each guest must bake and bring six dozen cookies to swap with the others attending. Each guest then takes home six varieties of cookies one dozen of each kind. Or, you may want to plan on trading only a half dozen cookies of each kind. That way, more varieties of cookies and friends can be shared.
