In 1958 he moved to Cleveland, Utah, where he was a rancher prior to retirement in 1979 when he moved to Salt Lake City. Survivors: Daughter, Shirley Blanton, Salt Lake City; granddaughter, Sanny Oveson, Washington, D.C.; grandson, Christian Conway Blanton, Salt Lake City; one brother, one sister Kent H.
