ELECTS Perjury .Charge Dropped After Parents Consent t for complaint againat Harry L. Cannon on a chargo of perjury waa entered Saturday, but tbe charge waa dropped when his mother and the mother of Theresa B. Bhippy whom he had married the day before by both giving a false statement of their ages, gave consent to the marriage in the county clerks office. Cannon spent part of Saturday in the county jail, prior to the decision, of the mothers not to oppose the marriage. . Cannon, it appears, gxvV his sgs as 21, and the girl said ha waa 18, Friday. A license was issued and they were married. The girls mother then sought the marriage license clerk, protesting, and as an outcome of the parental resistance, a complaint to charge Cannon .with perjury was asked for. with George Graham, marriage license clerk, appearing as complaining witness. The mothers, however, conferred, and decided that each should sivn consent for her own child, which was done. Cannon is nearly 19, while the girl is 16, the revised records show.
