As a MINE OPERATOR, he has been a great asset in developing the coal resources in Emery County. He believes that our economic future lies in the development of our natural resources. As a REPRESENTATIVE of Kemmerer Coal Co., he is in a position to develop these resources. The coal lands they control near Emery and the Huntington Canyon area make them the largest holders of underground rights in Emery County. At the present time they are considering two possibilities of development: a generating plant near the coal with transmission lines to the populous areas or piping the coal in the form of slush to the area where the power will be produced. Department of Defense, is scheduled for showing on KUED, Channel 7 at 8 p.m. Thursday, November 10, the eve of Veterans Day. This halfhour movie, entitled Walk With Me is the story of a combat soldier who suffers the loss of a leg when struck by heavy shell-fir- e during an attack on enemy lines. After months of hospitalization he faces life as an amputee untrained and unemployed. The events leading to his eventual rehabilitation are factual and, since we have already quite a number of disabled veterans in our area with more coming home from Viet Nam almost every week, the film is very timely and should be viewed by veterans and survivors alike.
