Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Snow and children of Orem visited last week end with their parents, Pres, and Mrs. Perry Snow and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jenkins. A Republican party was held last Friday night in the school lunch room. All of the county can- didates were there as speakers. They had a pot luck supper. About 80 people were present. Mrs. Alta Singleton is teaching a class in Spanish at her home on Monday night of each week and quite a number of people are taking it. They seem very interest- ed in it. Some of our square dancers, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. LaVerd Ralphs and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Huntsman, attended a square dancing party last Saturday night at Price. There were also several couples from other towns of this county who were there and they all had a nice time. There will be a squape dancing party in Ferron this coming Saturday night in the Seminary. They have fine times at these parties and all who care to are invited to attend and take part in the dancing. 1st Lt. and Mrs. Clyde Edwards were here a week ago visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Edwards, and other relatives and friends. They left and went to Provo to visit his wife's people a few days. Wednesday Clyde left for San Francisco to leave for Japan for further duty in the Air Force. His wife and children will remain in Provo for the present. She will go on with her studies at the BYU and finish up the credits that she lacked.
