Jobies from around Utah traveled to Moab on November 2, 2002 and met the Moab girls at the Moab Valley Inn for a fund raising dinner. Officers and members of Bethel No 8 provided the ingredients for a tasty dinner. Leslie Phillips donated two delicious varieties of chili, served in bread bowls baked by James Leech of Boomer's Market. Everyone enjoyed the unique presentation, and there were no dishes to wash! All proceeds from the dinner will go to the state Promotion and Scholarship Fund. The unused bread, chili and other supplies were donated to the Moab Food Bank. After dinner, everyone returned to the Moab Masonic Lodge for a joint meeting of Price's Bethel No 3 and Moabs Bethel No. 8. Honored Queens Ashley West and Shauna OHearon conducted the meeting together and all of the officers performed their parts 2002 well. All proceeds from the event will lie donated to H I K E., (Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment Fund ), the Job's Daughters charity which provides help to children with hearing problems. After the bowling party, ev- eryone traveled back to the bethel for the night, where some people tries! to slee p and othe rs tried not to sleep. On Sunday morning, Brenda and George provided breakfast before the long bus ride back to the Salt Lake area. Members of Bethel No. 8 would like to thank the crew at Gravel Pit Lanes for a fun time and thanks to everyone who helped with the weekend.
