Nmnemans images convey the awe and exhibit of the black and white photography of John Nmneman will be shown at Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum from July 6 through Sept 1,2002 To complement Nmnemans images of canyons and ancient sites, rare artifacts from the museums collection will be on display including turkey feather blankets and sandals that are over 1 ,000 years old Nmnemann lives in Durango, Colo , where he is a member of the Fort Lewis College Biology faculty and Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences His work has been featured m the inaugural exhibit d"VW o 'V CH 7 John Ninneman at the new Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, at the Hatfield Gallery m Alamosa, Colo , and at the Farmington Museum in timeless silence experienced m the canyons of the Four Corners Region. Originally from Bath, Maine, Bruce moved to the Four Comers area in 1990 where he set up residence in Durango, Colo , for eight years. He brings with him a wealth of experience and passion for southeast Utah and the Colorado Plateau which he hopes to share with visitors to the Moab area.
