Phyllis Godwin began complaining of abdominal pain last Friday afternoon and by evening the pain increased and her hus- band Dennis drove her to the local hospital in Moab. She was transferred from Moab by ambulance to Grand Junction where it was determined that a gallstone blocked the pancreas causing swelling and damage to the organ. The pain has been controlled a little and she is resting in preparation for surgery as soon as the swelling goes down. In the meantime, her sister Dana and husband Dwight Limbaugh and theirchildren Tracey, 17 and Christie, 14 were on their way for their first vacation to the west from their home in Decherd, Tenn. Phyllis had their visit all planned and insisted that they follow the Itinerary as scheduled even though she couldn't be there with them.
