Dear Community, Its 7 30 pm 12,42000 For years people have said to me, Why dont you vote1 Your vote counts!" I find it extremely ironic m this important election that probably the Republican shadow government will go to the White House and spend billions of dollars on crap like Star Wars because the voting counting has been so inaccurate over the last four decades that the government is afraid to address the problem Where is the money for accurate counts1 To say, oh, 1 percent is close enough is not acceptable by today's standards One percent of all Americans is a lot of Amencans If 52'X of the voting age population voted for an alternate party, that is, neither Democrat or Republican, or didnt vote at all1 Thsf means only 24' voted for either Bush or Gore Exit polls say that bO'i of the voters polled said they voted against the other candidate, that means only 12't of the population is fully supporting either candidate That is low enough percentage of the populace that we should demand another election like the CIA does m other countries If "one person one vote" is the ideal, then let's make it real instead Last full moon of the year Arts & Crafts Sale at Moonflower Market 111 North loosest LIVE MUSIC AND REFRESHMENTS Monday 5 December 11th to 8 p.m. Rock Art Panels and Paintings by Rod Galer Beeswax Candles and Jewelry by Lucy Pedersen Beaded Uonders and Crocheted Ornaments by Barb Hards Kaleidescapes Large and Small by Konrad and Others All items available to take home upon purchase Exhibit continues through December Thursday, December 7, 2000 (Die (Time of passing the buck from court to court It is time to admit that all the votes were counted but they were counted inaccurately because the counters are so outdated and someone didn't do his job in cleaning out the punched out chads" from the counters I'm sick that some are saybecause it is that ing Oh, it's okay " part of town You know The fact remains that ALL THE VOTES STILL HAVE NOT BEEN COUNTED ACCURATELY as possible I think they should do the whole thing over and do it right. I might even vote if they tried to do the right thing' I encourage the Florida State Supreme court to not be intimidated by the REPUBLICAN appointed U S Supreme Court and do the nght thing Gore won the populace vote Period The electoral college was devised for several reasons, but the idea that five states will run the country if the electoral college is dissolved is absurd because it should be one person one vote when electing our national leader If you want to talk real representation, IT1 go you one step further To make this a real Democracy entering the 21st century, we should take one of those encryption programs that the military developed and the taxpayer paid for and set up voting over the Internet We could form a third body to Congress, call it the Populous Fod rum or whatever and make it voting power in Corgress Then when issues that come up concerning individuals, they could tune into the streaming video from the floor of Congress and then vote on the issue making sure the Internet is available to every voter in America. Enough money was raised to buy almost all of the needed materials for the structure and a lot of donated material will help meet what the money wont cover. In addition, many hours of labor were pledged to help with the construction. Vijali, Dan and JoAnna want everyone to know how much they appreciate the generosity of the community for their help. "Everybody was so thoughtful and eager to help," JoAnna stated. "That's what our community is all about, neighbor helping neighbor."
