Mr. Blackburn is Mr. Lamont La-mont DeCol' brother. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Howard Marker, Paul and Colleen and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jacobson visited in Tooele and later attended the fare- Berg, a September bride-elect, Monday night at the home of Mrs. Vivian Ray with Mrs. Florence Ray as co-hostess. Five hundred and cootie were played with prizes going go-ing to Mrs. Cenevieve Cadd, Mrs. Kitty McNul, Mrs. Phoebe Johnson and Mrs. Ruth Hudson. Lovely refreshments re-freshments were served to 24 guests by the hostesses. The honoree received re-ceived many useful and lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Jackson and Mrs. Ward Warner and children, Bill and D'Ann, spent Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon at the Utah State Fair. The employees of First Security Bank at Bingham Canyon enjoyed dinner at Andy' Smorgasbord in Salt Lake City and then attended the Ice Follies and the fair. Those present and enjoying the get-together were Miss Joyce Jackson, Mrs. Ruth J. Kidd, Mrs. Sharon Johnson, Mis Connie Mochizuki and Mr. Zenaida Fregoto. Before leaving for the evening of dining and the show, they visited with Mr. Johnson in her lovely new home in Salt Lake City. Wendy and Celeste Johnson visited vis-ited and were overnight guests Tuesday night of their grandmother, grandmoth-er, Mrs. Edith Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. flenry A. Cheever were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peterson Pe-terson of Salt Lake City. A birthday dinner wa held Friday Fri-day at Harman's Cafe in honor of Mrs. Henry A. Cheever on her birthday anniversary. Other pres-ent pres-ent were Mr. Cheever, Mr. and Mr. Jay Cheever, Mr. and Mr. William Rager and Mr. and Mr. Robert Peteron. Mr. Paty Fullmer entertained her knitting club at her new home in Midvale Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Snow entertained enter-tained at a dinner party Thursday at the Panorama Inn in honor of Dr. and Mrs. David Cheney and daughter, Pamela, of Springfield, Mo. It was "Happy Birthday" at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Winn in honor of their son, Chuck, on his fourth birthday Tuesday, Sept. 19. Eighteen small guests were there to help him celebrate the occasion. Tuesday niyht, the Copperton Ward Mutual honored their girl of the Y. W.M.I. A. for theid accomplishments accom-plishments during the year. The program was the girls and their parents. Norma Kay Milner was narrator. The honored included girls of Beehives, MiaMdids and Laurals. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Snow and Dr. and Mrs. David R. Ross and children Betsy and Scotty who were leaving the following fol-lowing day (Monday) for their home in Portsmouth, N.H., after visiting here two weeks with relatives rela-tives and friends. Mis. Edith DeCol of Salt Lake City was an overnight guest at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis DoCol Friday. Saturday Mrs. Louis DeCol and Mrs. Lamont DeCol De-Col took her back to her home in Salt Lake City and later visited with Miss Maxine DeCol. Sgt. and Mr. LaMont DeCol were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol. Thursday evening a birthday and Mrs. Stephen Downs and ion, dinner wa held at the home of Mr. Craig, of Midvale in honor of Mr. Elvin Armitstead. The Athena Floros, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Floros, left Sunday to enroll at Westminster College in Salt Lake City for the coming year. She will live on campus. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Peterson and Mrs. Carrie Doyle enjoyed playing Hollywood poker at the home of Mr. and Mr. Boyd Anderson Thursday. Mr. and Mr. Neldon Chadwick and granddaughter, Shauna, were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Chadwick of West Jordan. Dr. and Mrs. David R. Cheney and daughter, Pamela, left Monday for their home in Springfield, Mo., after spending two weeks with Mrs Cheney's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Snow. Linda Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long, left Sunday afternoon af-ternoon to enroll at the BYU for the coming year. She will be living at Herjtage Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cook are leaving this Saturday, the 23rd, to visit a we.ek with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mr. Bill Cook of Eugene, Ore. While there they also plan to do some fishing for salmon. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jimas and Mr. Joseph Jone of Salt Lake City spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Elko, Nev. W.B.A. held their regular monthly mon-thly meeting for September at the home of Mr. Norman Jacobsen Monday night. Charlotte Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen was en invited guest. A business busi-ness meeting was conducted after which bridge was played and prizes won by Mrs. Helen Sullenger, first; Charlotte Rasmussen, second; Mrs. Howard Harker, consolation and Mrs. W.D.S. Brown, bingo. Other members attending were Mr. Carrie Car-rie Doyle, Mrs. Pete Smith and Mrs. Heber Nichols. Lovely refreshments were served by the hostess.
