Mrs. Morrills niece, Miss Betty Grant, returned with them to spend a week here. McClel-- , Sgt. and Mrs. Val J. som lan, of Chinute Field, Ill.j and daughter of Mr. andMrs. Alfred Morrill, were weekend visitors at the Morrill home. Word has been received that Roland Krebs, Sr. is confined to the Veterans hospital in alt Lake City. Mr. Krebs made his home in Myton for many years and is a prominent member of the Wm. R. Sands Post No. 5, American Legion. His manyfrjends hope for his speedy recovery H. W. Davenport and son, James, arrived last week from California, where, they have resided during the past two years.' Present were Mr. and Mrs. Zeary Mathews, of Midvale; Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hancock, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Mathews, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mathews, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cummings and Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Cummings. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart and Mr. Sather, of Duchesne, were Myton business visitors Saturday. Mrs. Wm. Hullinge.r arrived last week from Terribonne, Ore., called here by the death of her mother, Mrs. Lionel Bowden. She will visit for a short time r before rewith her home. turning Mr. and Mrs. Richard Campbell, Of Morgan, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Campbell, of Salt Lake City, came last week to be present at the funeral of their mother, Mrs. Lionel Bowden. They returned home Saturday. Mrs. I. R. Tuttle left Friday for Redding, California, having received word that her daughter-inMrs. Harold Tuttle, -law, was ill and would undergo an operation. She will remain foi some time at her sons home. Miss Gladys Hunt, who has been ill for several months, suf fered a relapse Saturday and un less her condition improves will be taken to the hospital at Roos evelt. Mrs. Homer Robinson left Sunday to spend a week in Salt Lake City with her daughters Mrs. Cleone Sproule and Mrs. Wendal Workman, and with hei son, Max, who is attending tin University. Heber Allred, who has beer awaiting good weather to start spring work on his farm, west o' town, left Saturday for Salim to spend a short time with his wife. He will return to Myton about a week or as soon as Old Man Winter decides to allow spring to come to this dis trict. The Relief Society and friends of the H. L. Bowden family served dinner at the L.D.S. Ware chapel Friday afternoon for the bereaved family and visiting rel atives and friends. The clever ballet dance number that was presented at the Myton Gold and Green Ball re ceived such favorable comment that Vernal invited the group tc present the dance as a special feature, Saturday evening, at the Imperial Hall in Vernal. The dance met with instant succesi and the girls, led by solo dancei Genele Smith, received rounds ot applause at the close of the ballet. Mrs. Keith Peatross, dance director; Mrs. Willard Smith, designer, and Mrs. Syerl Dennis, accompanist, accompanied the group. Others who went to Vernal, Saturday evening to attend the dance festival at Imperial Hall were Syerl Dennis, Mrs. Clarence Liddell, Mrs. Merril Acel Bingham, Mrs. La Vor Dennis and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bingham. Roller skating at the Oasis started Sunday afternoon, bringing a new source of amusement and relaxation to the younger set, and also to some who are not so yourg. LaVor Dennis spent the weekend with his wife and daughters, .returning Monday to his work at Kingston. Regular meeting of the American Leg, on and Auxiliary, Wm. R. Sands Post and Unit, No. 5, were held at the Barracks, Friday evening. Taking part on the program were Velma Feldsted, Fern Snow, Opal Barton and the Singing Mothers. Mrs. Alice Sorensen and Mrs. Clara Burton, Stake Relief Soe ciety Board Members, from ward, were in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor, of Mt. Home, spent several days last week with their son and family at the Warren Ranch. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Taylor took the elder Taylors home on Friday. March 8 the Boneta Ward Relief Society entertained at a social honoring retiring President Leora Oman. President Alice Swasey presented Mrs. Oman with a lovely Relief Society pin as a token of esteem and appre-- . ciation, Mrs. Elzada Evans took her mother, Mrs. Elmira Snow, of Mt. Emmons, to Roosevelt, Monday to consult a doctor. Mrs. Snow has been in poor health for some time. Mrs. Jennie Brotherson, Janet Tal-mag- SIR. AND MRS. WALTER NELSON ENTERTAIN and Mrs. Walter Nelson entertained the members of the 500 Club at their home Sunday Mr. evening, March 14. A delicious luncheon was srved. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks returned Monday after spending the past week in Salt Laice City and Ogden. Mrs. Donald Rhoades, of Hanna, LeRea Rhoades, of Tabiona, and T. Wm. Rhoades, of Salt Lake City, visited Monday at the nome ot Mrs. May R. Lambert. E. M. Mohlman fell and cracked his hip last week. He was taken to Roosevelt, Tuesday, for treatment. The D.U.P. held its regular and Dorothy, visited in Mt. Home Thursday evening with Mrs. Guy Lindsey and new son. Mrs. Lindsey, who lives in Price, is staying at the home of her mother, Mrs. Charles Alexander. Lorna Cook has been confined to her home with mumps. It is thought that Arlene Johansen and Ella Swasey also have mumps, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Christensen and daughter visited Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Fowler Sunday afternoon. Edward Barton returned to Vernal, Tuesday after having spent several days at home. Ned Taylor and Bert Brother-sovisited Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Taylor, Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Rosebell Ames and Mrs. Ethel Beebe were visitors. Colleen Stevenson, of Mt. Home, spent Tuesday night with Barbara Smith. Boyd Bleazard, of Mt. Home, spent Thursday night with Maxfield. Mrs. Mary Bowden and son, Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Burgess, Mrs. Ethel Beebe and Albert Carroll attended funeral services for Mrs. Violet Bowden Friday in Myton. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Snyder have received word of the arrival of a grandchild, a daughter born March 12 to Mr. and Mrs. Junior Potts, of Upalco. Mrs. Potts was the. former Arlene Snyder. Mrs. Earl Burgess and daughter are visiting in Price. Mr. and Mrs. Lott Powell returned Monday from a months visit in Layton, Utah and Preston, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Woodard went to Provo last weekend to bring their family home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray and Mrs. Thelma Cook, of Bluebell, were visitors at Relief Society conference, Sunday. Mr, and Mrs. Zeary Mathews of Riverton, visited here Friday with relatives. They came to attend the funeral of Ethan Nelson at Roosevelt on Thursday, Mrs. Lee Lisonboe entertained the following boys and girls at her home on Sunday afternoon in honor of her son, Larrys 9th birthday: Shanna Lee Winkler, Janet Seeley, Daphine Lisonbce, Garth Remington, Bobbie Goodrich, Drew Goodrich, Michael Lisonbee, Mary Lee Lisonbee. Mrs. Maurine Smith, of Idaho, arrived. Sunday to get her two small children who have spent the past month here with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Howe. Emmons, visited relatives here Saturday. Martha Thorsen has been quite ill the past week with strep, throat.
