TbbriS'iXi, TEACHERS The Larsen Grocyterya of this city was broken into and robbed Thursday night between 8:30 oclock and midnight Friday morning. Cash and checks amounting to between $150 and $500 were stolen, about $75 of ' which was cash, according to P. J. Larsen, proprietor. Entrance was gained by prying a board off the rear door. The robbery was discovered by nightwatchman Esdras Sackett, who was making his periodical rounds through the back alley. He noticed the board off the rear door at the Larsen store and upon investigation found that the place had been robbed. He called Mr. Larsen and notified Marshal John R. Evans, and both came to the store immediately. No trace of the yegg could be found, however. It would appear from reports that the job had been done by someone familiar with the place or one having a knowledge of where Mr. Larsen had been in the habit of putting his money when closing for the night. The robber, it is said, rifled a cash register and money drawer, obtaining approximately $20 in cash. He then walked to the place where the money sack was hidden, picked it up and carried it off. He was considerate enough to shut the back door as hei walked out. , at Exhibits Seen qrd Annual Event On Sept 4th. and Stfiime Community Fair.
