Show en and granddaughter, Leslie, visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Kermkh Isbell of Salt Lake City Friday evening. ev-ening. Mr. and Mr. Gail Famsworth and grandchildren, Gail and Gary, pent the week end in Brigham City vititing with their km, David and Don Farnaworth and their families. Mr. Maurine Nielaon left Wednesday Wed-nesday to spend few days with her mother, Mrs. Maybel Torgensen of Monroe. EPILEPSY SOCIETY OF UTAH TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT The Epilepsy Society of Utah will hold it's monthly meeting this Monday Mon-day night, Feb. 19, at 8 p.m. at 340 East 3545 South in Salt Lake City and everyone interested is invited to attend. Speaker for the evening will pe F. Martin Erickson. He will speak on the subject "Epilepsy, What We Can Do About It". t BETROTHAL ANNOUNCED Announcement is made of the engagement and approaching marriage mar-riage of Miss Dorothea Cass to Alan J. Lyon. Making known the nuptial news are parents of the bride-elect, Mr. and Mrs. J. Carroll Cass, Charlotte, N. Car. Mr. Lyon, presently residing in Charlotte, is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David C. Lyon, 3056 7th East, Salt Lake City, formerly of Bingham Canyon. The engaged couple are planning plan-ning an April 14 wedding in the Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. The bride-elect has attended the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina and Queens College. Mr. Lyon received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Utah where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi and Tau Beta Pi. WEST JORDAN LADY LIONS West Jordan Lady Lions met Monday night, Feb. 12, for their regular monthly meeting at home of Mrs. Nell Williams with Mrs. Yvonne Copeland and Mrs. Clara Hogan co-hostesses for the evening. Mrs. Margaret Cole, president, conducted the business meeting which was followed by a book review re-view presented by Mrs. Mary Egbert, Eg-bert, who reviewed the book "Pioneer "Pio-neer Go Home". Visitors at the meeting were Mrs. Noreen Chapman Chap-man and Mrs. Mildred Morgan. Mrs Norma Miller won the door prize given away. Lovely refreshments were served at the close of the evening ev-ening by the hostesses. 18 members mem-bers and guests were present. NAMED TO HONOR ROLL AT UNIVERSITY OF UTAH Carol Jean Wiechman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wiechman of West Jordan has been named to the high honors roll at the University Univer-sity of Utah. A graduate of Bingham High School, she is majoring in education educa-tion and is a sophomore. Ihe high honor roll represents those students at the University who have a grade point average of at least 3.5 or "B plus. Relatively few students attain ouch high academic standing. Canyon Lodge No. 13, F.&A.M. of Midvale is holding a special meeting at Midvale in joint with Progress Lodge No. 22 on the F. C. Degree next Tuesday night, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Master Masons are cordially invited to attend.
