It seems to have become a fixed habit for one or the other of them to institute proceedings every once in a while prior to the commencement of the present action. There was a temporary suspension of hostilities, the supreme court finds, about 1916, but even then there were muttering of discontent portending the probability that another action by plaintiff might be at any time. During thia interval Adamson sold bis half interest in an apartment house at Murray to bis father, Andrew Adamson, Sr., and when the divorce proceed ings were finally started, Mrs. Adamson claimed that this transfer was fraudulent, and that her husband owed her $2900. Tbe half interest was worth about 11250. However, the lower court derided there was no fraud in the transfer, and also failed to give Mrs. Adamson alimony. It was testified that she was making about $1UU a month bv operating a house in Salt Lake, and that herrooming husband was without a business. There were no children.
