Show Page A4 - Thursday, June 16, 2005 - (DC Wake will be held June 16 for James T. James T. Jolly Jolly passed away Sunday June 12, 2005 after a short illness. JT was born in Moncks Corner, S.C. on November 18, 1918. He married UT on Dec. 25, 1941 in Tacoma, Washington. JT made a career of the U.S. Air Force retiring in 1959. dream of raising White Face Poled Hereford Cattle. He retired again from the Naval Amy Lorraine Prescott, born August 21, 1914 in Torrington, Wyoming to Bertha and Dorsey Shoemaker, died in Moab on 14. She married Robert A. Prescott May 8, 1934 in Red Lodge, Montana. He preceded her in death in 1960. They lived in Casper, and Denver. Wyoming Colorado. Following his death she worked at the infant June Wilma is survived by three children and their spouses: Linda (Chris) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; Bruce (Lois Ann) Prichard of Grants, NM; and Lizbeth (Lance) Williams of Logan, UT. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirteen and her sister, Hope Hills of Seattle, WA. Preceding her in death were her husband, LeGrande, her daughter, Louise, and her grandson, Robert Prichard. Living in Moab for over fifty-fou- r years, Wilma contributed to the community by serving in Moabs Girl Scouts Clubs and judging and sewing entries at county fairs. She also volunteered her time in the home economics department of the local school, teach- - nurseries at the Visalia, and June enjoyed playing cards, socializing at the Petroleum Club and entertaining out at their farm in the valley, but most of all they loved fishing! They traveled far and wide across the country just for that perfect fish. Family members will meet at the graveside in Spanish Valley Cemetery on Thursday, June 16 at 6 p.m. His ashes will be placed in the headstone that he and June share. There will be a wake at Spanish Valley Dr. at 7 p.m. to remember JT and drink to his passing and his reunion with Mother. Jolly was preceeded in death by his daughter Maura Lea and his loving wife June. JT is survived by his three daughers, Tamie Ohman-Knel- l, Jolly Stanford (Robin Groff) and Leah Cox, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The purpose of the SCD is to focus attention on land, water, and related resource problems; develop programs to solve those problems; and enlist the cooperation of various public and private resource groups who can contribute to the accomplishments of the Districts goals and plans. More information is available by calling Hal Lemon extension 109 at or Wayne Urie, extension 103. 0, OE3 I her life to Wilma devoted Soil Conservation The local Grand Soil Conservation District (SCD) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are seeking input from all citizens, organizations and government agencies about resource concern issues. The resource concerns of most interest to the SCD are soil, water, air, plant, animal, and human issues. There may be other resource concern issues as well and public input who will great-grandchildre- n, 4-- H District seeks input California Hospital and later at the Cottonwood Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She retired to Green Valley, Arizona in 1979. She moved to Boulder City, Nevada in 1993 and then to Moab, Utah in 1995. She was a member of the Community Church of Moab. She enjoyed her time at the Senior Center in Moab and participated in the Wednesday band. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her ing students to sew. She was an active member of the LDS great-grandchildre- n, Yard, in Charleston, S.C. in 1971 after which he and June moved to Moab. He spent many years working in Horace Beemans hay fields and for many other farmers and ranchers in the valley. JT Dr. Todd June 10 service held for Wilma B. Prichard Ferron, Utah. He and his family moved to Cross S.C. where he fulfilled his service away on June 14 Wilma Behling Prichard gently entered her eternal rest on June 5, 2005 in Ammon, Idaho, while under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice. She was bom to Linda M. Nelson Behling and William A. Behling on April 2, 1921 in June Brown of Tooele, Charleston Amy Prescott passed Obituaries her husband, LeGrande. They met during her junior year in high school and they eloped on April 2, 1939. On September 19, 1959, their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS temple. This was one of the great desires of her life. Throughout their lives, their love was evident to their children , Jacquelyn On March 26, 2004 disasstruck: Wilma suffered a debilitating stroke. Shortly after, LeGrande had surgery and passed away a few weeks later. Wilma was moved to Idaho to be near her daughter where she could receive loving care. She spent her remaining time there in nursing facilities. Gradually, her body declined until her peaceful passing. Funeral services were held on June 10, 2005. Wilmas family is grateful to the Moab 5th Ward, and all of her friends and neighbors who provided assistance and support during this difficult time. .
