Susie Harrington, Tom David Everitt, Shellenberger and Marcus LaFrance voted for disapproval; Dave Cozzens voted for approval; and D.L. Taylor and Charlie Every were absent. The commission for some time has attempted to narrow changes in the multi-famil- y residential zone down to an area that would decrease in density from multiples of 20, 14, 8 and 4 units, as the area gets further from the center of development in Moab City limits. This is a very complex issue, said Marcus LaFrance, who chaired last week's meeting. We have narrowed, it down in scope. We have a problem with the current MFR zone. Planning Administrator Mary Hofhine said the next step is to contact other counties and municipalities to learn how they have incorporated affordable housing language into applications to increase density or change uses. quMli hid Grand County Organizing Convention Ice Cream Social (801)524-570- 6 www.wagehour.dol.gov US Citizenship & Immigration Services Office Of Business Liason At the Civic Center 6:30 p.m. SAVE (Verification of Work Authorization) Brought to you by your Moab Workforce Services Team 457 Kane Creek Blvd. 0 OO Tuesday, June 28, 2005 0 June 16, 2005 City moving. 8 U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division Employment Standards Administratioin 719-260- -- Thursday, nt designation allows. Mayor Dave Sakrison spoke strongly in favor of the resolution saying, we need to be a model for the rest of the state. Moab will pursue and achieve these goals by continuing to purchase renewable energy from voluntary renewable energy programs such as Utah Powers Blue Sky program, from promotion of use of energy efficient technology and conservation efforts and from investigating renewable energy sources that can be installed in our community such as photovoltaic systems, solar hot water systems and small scale wind generation Police Chief Mike Navarre reported that the Department of Homeland Security has provided a grant of $67,000 dollars of which $27,000 dollars was used to purchase full body armor for police officers and the additional money was used to purchase laptop computers and radio equipment. serving breakfast, lunch & dinner rrmrm iTrmnm nrrrrrrnrrri rmrmrm mrmni .A counter-feitforger- 1 as ash! raracomco - fight; 1 1 suspicious $599 Friday or Saturday, June 13 and 14 (Slavs Sartrae aV7As POLICE |
