And for the past 20 years, the modate different tastes over the years. Today, the Games offer more than 50 different sports from which to choose. They vary from traditional Olympic sanctioned events like archery, basketball, cycling, diving, fencing, soccer and wrestling. Also included are several events. Ever since 1986 the Games have provided a challenging environment for amateur athletes of all ages and skill levels to engage in a festival of sports. Every June, 8,000 to 10,000 Utahans converge on Cedar City to be a part of the oldest Games Director. Our goal is to allow as many athletes as possible to compete in a statewide arena.
