Ron received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Montana in 1978, and a M.Div. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1982. Besides his years in pastoral ministry, Ron spent three years as a teacher at Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa's Bible School. In 1985 Ron was ordained through Calvary Chapel Outreach Fellowships, Inc., of Costa Mesa, California. Ron is an experienced Bible teacher, pastor and musician. He is married and has three children. Ron's wife, Kathy, has a B.A. in Education. She has taught many women's studies over the years and is currently coordinator of Children's Church and High School activities.
