Winter wheat was 19 percent seeded and 6 percent emerged. Oats for grain were 77 percent harvested. Corn was 72 percent in dough stage, 44 percent in dent stage, and 13 percent maturity. Corn for silage was 10 percent harvested. Onions were 40 percent harvested, potatoes 30 percent harvested, and dry beans 15 percent harvested. Third cutting alfalfa hay was 77 percent complete, fourth cutting alfalfa hay 1 1 percent complete, and alfalfa seed harvest 21 percent complete. Peaches were 87 percent picked, apples 26 percent picked, and pears 80 percent picked. Harvest of alfalfa hay third and fourth cuttings, onions, potatoes, and apples were ahead of the five-yeaverage. Oats for grain, alfalfa seed, corn for silage, peach harvests, corn maturity, winter wheat seeded, and winter wheat emerged were behind the five-yeaverage. Range and pasture conditions were rated 13 percent good, and 87 percent fair to very poor.
