MILBURN EPIDEMIC OP 11 MEASLES auth Wanton Exposure Causes Much iii Feeling Special Correspondence Milburn Sanpete Co Jan 31 Like many others we are having our turn with n a very annoying epidemic of lOOM meas measles lea les It was brought here by a student attending the tue D Ii Y A at Provo and previous to returning home for forthe forthe the holidays was exposed to the tho macit annoying disease and although site she was aware of her exposure took no precaution tion to avoid the spread of thu Mime senie but attended parties anti and there thereby by imy exposing nearly all au with whom she came In contact There are nt at present families In our ward which have havo from two to five children who are mulcted with the disease maskIng making a to total total tal of 70 cases many of which have been at deaths door during the worst stage ot of their Illness but It Is hoped that kind providence will allow all to recover and return again to their courses In school and other occupations report Is that thai nearly all are arc Im Iou Improving proving slowly Much exists among the lie peo people plo on account of the tho carelessness omit man manifested by hy the young lady who exposed oed our community for or the reason she knew of her exposure and could have avoid avoided ed the spread ot of the disease to a great extent Measles is the tho only disease that exists among us and It is the tha prayer of all that it will soon scott cease We have hava very vry cold weather nt at pros pres present rot ent anti and considerable snow which makes the tanners farmers smile with the hope bop that water will be plentiful next season
