Show fit The Daily Herald American Fork is presenting Annie Friday, Saturday and Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the American Fork Junior High School. Ticket are available at the door and are $4 for adults and $3 for children and senior you're not coming back Annie. Annie, ably played by Kathryn Ruzicka, can best be described as an optimist as she copes not only with being an Play Review depressive circumstances ami couldn't help but elicit sympathy from the audience. orphan, but with living at the time of the Great Depression. Ruicka's stage presence and beautiful singing voice belie her young age. She sings Tomorrow with such fervor and conviction one knows that there will be a better time soon. Annie and Daddy Warbucks. skillfully played by Marc Haddock, interacted well together. There seemed to be a special chemistry between them that gave believability and beauty to in Equally impressive , appearance was Miss Katliv expertly played by Alexander. She and her brother Hanni-gan- Rooster (Ryan Davis), and his friend Lily (Nicole Wride). were delightfully wicked as they hatched their plan to extract from Daddy Warbucks a sizable amount of money. Their rendition of Easy Street left no doubts as to their intentions. Annie is directed by Kim Brewster. He and his staff have put together a fine, entertaining and thought-provokin- g show to designed delight every age. The choreography by Cherv Allgaier is superb. The costuming by RoseMarie Taylor is :reat and reflects the times well. Plan to make a date with Annie, and remember, You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile. Chosen as the lucky orphan to spend Christmas in the War-buc- mansion, Annie's win- I ning ways soon won the hearts ol Warbucks and his entiie staff. Warbucks said he could iclate to Annie's because situation he was once in dire straits. He had, however, reached his goal to become wealthy and lived by the philosophy that "you don't have to worry about stepping on people's toes on your way up if for the Temple Square Concert Series. Nov. 3: Three of Utah's most prominent musical artists present an evening of chamber works as violinist Jean Bradford, cellist F.llcn Bridger and Barlow Bradford join forces. Beethoven's Sonata for Violin and pianist-conduct- Piano, Opus 12, No. 3; the Brahms Violin and Piano. Opus IOt); and the Ravel Trio for Violin. Cello and Piano will be Jean Bradford has appeared with the Utah Symphony, performed extensively as solo and chamber artist both here and in California, and is currently the concert mistress of the Utah Chamber Artists. Bridger. a freelance performer with international credits, is currently principal cellist of the Ballet West Orchestra. Barlow Bradford is the founder of the Utah Chamber Artists.
