Two days after signing a SI million contract. Barry Foster changed his mind and left the Cincinnati Bengals. Foster, 26, a three-tim- e Pro Bowl running back with Pittsburgh who was released this year by Carolina, told Bengals coach Dave Shula he had lost his desire to play in the NFL. Foster returned his $300,000 signing bonus.
