Think fancy grasses ornamental ones that come in all shades of green as well as purplish and blood reds, golden yellows and silvery blues. Once the soil warms in early spring, ornamental grasses begin to sprout. You see little tufts of green first poking through the soil, then they rise and gaillardia.
