Show Sunday, November 15, 1987 THE HERALD, Provo, Utah, Gay man would like to be accepted for what he is Bv ANN LANDF.RS Dear Ann Landers: My problem: I am gay. Actually, being gay isn't the problem. I came to terms with my sexual orientation several years ago and have no interest in going straight, if such a thing were possible, which I seriously doubt. The problem is that women are attracted to me and they won't leave me alone. I am sensitive, funny, good-lookin- g, well-educate- d, well-travele- d, ambitious, successful and masculine. Please, Ann Landers, make it clear that gay men would like to be accepted for what they are. We don't want to try anything else and we wish our women friends would kaock it off. New York Dear N.Y.: Here is your letter. I don't have one thing to add. You've said it all. Thanks for taking us behind the scenes and letting us see life from a totally different one. I appear everywhere with my "friend" and although we don't live together, the nature of our relationship is well-know- n. In spite of this, women keep trying to get me to go to bed with them. The worst part is that I am unable to maintain a friendship with a woman because everything goes sour when I tell her that I am not interested in becoming intimate. She me he is tired and that maybe he will feel like it "next week." I am embarrassed by my dreams. I try to make myself attractive to him every way possible. He never notices a new Annnightie or a new hair-d- Dear Ann Landers: I am a woman with a job and three children, 13, 16 and 17. I also help with farming and ranching. My problem is that I am sexually starved. My husband has made love to me three times in the last year. The last time was nearly six months ago. I am a Christian with high moral standards. I do not read trashy magazines nor do I watch soap operas or films. To put it simply, my body is in need of more sex. I have been as honest with my husband as I dare, but he tells vantage point. A few days ago he learned that I tithed 10 percent of my paycheck to the church. This made him very angry.
