The latest additions to the Cougar wrestling ranks are Corey a state champion from Pocatello, Idaho; Mike Arm Hof-ma- two-tim- d e e champion in Idaho; and Mark state champion lis, a from Orem High. Previously, the Cougars signed Wil- n. Chel ipko (119 from Sandy. Layne Shepherd 185 ' from Spanish Fork and Paul Sweat 155 from Wasatch. Holman and Armstrong are high school teammates and both were also state freestyle champions. Hotman also won the Southwestern .one Championships (including wrestlers trom Cahtornia to Oklahoma. Armstrong was undefeated last season. "He (Armstrong) is supposed to be one of the best to come out of Idaho this year." said BYl' coach Alan Albright. Jones will transfer in from Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyo. He finished fourth in the national junior college finals. He will be a sophomore. Willis, who was a state champion and the state's outstanding wres d tler two years ago at Orem High , will come to BYU after spending a year in the Air Force preparation school. He will be a freshman. "These recruits are going to cause some dogfights on our squad." Albright said, "but we will have a lot of depth." Bait fishing on the Provo is only allowed below the Olmstead Diversion. '. Calls to Kuechenberg's home and bis business were not returned. Coach Don Shula said he had not heard officially from Kuechenberg j and would not comment until kuechenberg makes an announce- ment.
