Anyone interested in this organization, between the ages of 18 and 36, is invited to attend. "This will allow the Young Republicans of Utah County to meet casually and discuss plans for the following year," said Drake chairman of the Utah County Young Republicans. According to Leath Stratton, Department Head of Food Services for the district, the guidelines for determining which families are ehg;t!e for the program are developed at the federal level and passed on to state and local officials. The eligibility requirements for a free or reduced price school lunch are based on a family's total income and the family size. Individuals may apply for free a, social security numbers of all adult household members or a by filling out an application which is available at the school principal s office and returning it to the school. Applications may be submitted at any time during the year. If a family member becomes unemployed or if the family size changes, the school should be contacted. Such changes may make the children of the family eligible for reduced price meals or free meals.
