The 18th annual Tastemaker Awards competition, sponsored by R.T. French Company, gave it's top award to a cookbook written by a New York interior designer, Lee Bailey. Bailey's book, Country Weekends show that entertaining need nor diffinot be cult. The recipes exhibit how entertaining can be stylish and still be relaxing. The 125 books nominated were separated into ten categories.Win-ner- s were determined by the vote of ten panels. Country Weekends was also judged the top book in the Basic General category.
