The majority agrees: This needs to change. So a number of U.S. citizens donate their spare timfc and spare dollars to help improve life for those less fortunate. And many of these community service volunteers are home builders here in Utah County. For years, home builders have worked hard to improve their communities and the quality of life for their neighbors. Members of local home builders associations build 1 "" ff L laununes service campaign 1 shelters, sponsor food drives, provide college scholarships and participate in countless other community service projects. Local builders and their associates have contributed over $100,000 to endowed scholarship funds, helped build two homes for Habitat for Humanity of Utah County, and built schools for disabled children. The Utah Valley Home Builders Association (UVHBA) sponsors an helped during this one day bliti, with repairs of broken windows, insulation, replaced flooring, plumbing and electrical repairs, and the list goes on. These families are genmotherally single-pareers, the elderly, or families with a disabled family member who use their income to meet the necessities of life and don't have the extra funding to hire a professional for repairs.
