The clinic has reported that some "near-miss- " babies, those who have had seizures similar to SIDS, often have "abnormalities in their brainstem," which controls breathing and other automatic functions of the body. The nine-yea- r average was about 18,480 acres per year. Fires during 1979 affected about fifteen million acres of land in Utah, he said.
