Students will us their own saddle horses in team pole bending race, roping, doverleaf bams racing and goat tying, as well as in the cutting horse competition. Mr. Rosser pointed out that the bulls, broncs, steers and roping calves won't be tame animals they'll be livestock approved by the Rodeo Cowboys Association, the same animals used by professional cowboys on the national rodeo circuit. This means that the high school boys from such places as Florida, Missouri, California, Minnesota, Oregon, 21 other states two and Canadian provinces will be straddling some of the roughest, toughest bucking stock in the nation. It'll also mean that pretty young high school girls who team up in the daily roping contest, or put their mounts to work in the cutting horse event, will be trying to rope and cut from the herd regulation rodeo livestock, some of which may have been used in the world series of the national professional rodeo finals.
