Now we get down to the business of getting ready for a New Year and taking down the trees. (That alone can make a bad start on a New Year.) They opened the year with their membership drive to get students from all grades to join FBLA. Students from the Free Enterprise class went around to the business classes and told the students what FBLA is all about and also told them about the upcoming activities. They also set up a table in Brighton's main hall during Involvement Week and told interested people about FBLA. Their opening social was held on Sept. 18. A scavenger hunt took the members around to all the community businesses collecting cer been very school tain items. Then it led them to Butler Community Park where they barbecued hamburgers and played volleyball and football. And held their first chapter meeting.
