Show THE SENTINEL Thursday, November 6, 1980 Deputies report incidents Five arrests were made last week by deputies patrolling in the East Midvale area. Cottonwood Two Heights' girls were arrested for shoplifting after they allegedly took candy and cigarettes from a Family Center business. They were both issued citations. A HiUcrest High student was arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Detention Center after he allegedly kicked and dented a deputy's car parked at the school. Ap-- , proximate damage was $50. A Sandy man was arrested in the parking lot of the Phoenician Club with and charged a concealed carrying deadly weapon and public intoxication. A fifth man was he arrested after allegedly tried to shoplift a hat from Harmon's East, 7000 S. 900 E. Over $6,500 worth of jewelry was stolen from a home near 7100 S. 1300 E. Entrance to the home was made by removing a doorknob with pliers. Estimated damage was $100. A 1974 Buick Rivera was stolen from the Family Center parking lot. The car had been left unlocked with the keys in the Owner ignition. reported a $3,000 loss. A Subaru Brat, stolen out of the Bountiful area earlier this year was abandoned near 1000 E. 7200 S. and set afire. The Salt Lake County Arson team is investigating. A 1975 motorycycle was stolen from the driveway of a on residence White in Drive Larkspur City. Complaint reported a $700 loss. . ' A 1964 Rambler was stolen from the Family Center parking lot. Keys had been left on the floorboard. Owner reported a $500 loss which included three children's coats which were in the car. Burglars broke into the Club Phoenician and took a color television and approximately $550 in cash. Entry was apparently the made through bathroom window.
