Bob Campbell and his wife Gloria have purchased the hardware store from Mr and Mrs Johnny Wetsel. Glen Humphreys of Utah State University conducted the tour and explained the restoration to dub members. Garden Club makes Bicentennial tour The weather was perfect for a tour of nine gardens June 19, and more than 600 people turned out to see the lovely gardens at their peak. The tour was one of the events sponsored by the d Holladay-Cottonwoo- Herit- age Bicentennial Committee, with the Holladay Garden Club in charge of the arrangements. Mr and Mrs Edwin Firmage are chairmen of the week long activities. Elva Stark was chairman of the garden tour. Wheeler farm, at 6351 S. 900 E.p was first on the list of places visited. It is a e farm in the process of being restored to a working farm. Salt Lake County Recreation and Salt Lake Junior League have chosen this restoration for a 75-acr- joint Bicentennial project. Interviews taken at scientifically selected addresses in this area are part of a national survey of 2300 men and women being conducted in 74 areas of the United States between now and the middle of August. The survey asks respondents to describe how they feel about various aspects of their everyday lives, including their experiences at work, in marriage, and at leisure.
