Second grade students participated in a dance that related to their science unit on weather. Pinwheels and plastic bags were used to emphasize percussive and staccato movements. Theater members from (University of Utah child abuse prevention program), will be performing a role play of times when children are touched. They will help teach, the children about good and bad touches and what to do if they become involved in a child abuse situation. Following the program, members will go into the classes to answer questions on each grade level, and will also be available in the media center to answer questions on an individual basis, explained PTA safety commissioner Pam Justesen.
