"We knew that, after winning the Davis Invitational and the league meet, that we were certainly capable of it. We just had to perform to that level." Brighton high's girls placed two contestants in the top sixth of the 3200 meter run, as Tara Bowman brought in a fourth and Vicki Armstrong a sixth. 3200 3A 100 and Aimee Rice fourth in the javelin; LaDee Jensen fifth in the r points, Ogden edged out the Scotts for the girls. The Region Six champion Beetdig-ger- s had their moments, however, like Devin Williams' victory in the 800 meters in 1:58.26, nearly a full second better than the second place finisher, and Russ Nelson's second place effort in the javelin. Nelson added a fifth and Jamie Fullmer a sixth in the discus, Wayne Sears was third in the shot-pand Raymond Freeff and the mile relay team were sixth. It was even tougher for Jordan's girls. Their best finish was a close second by Tracy McCoy in the 100 meters. She also finished fourth in the 100 meter hurdles. After Siebold, there were no other first placers for the Hawks in girls relays and the pole vault. The team of Matt Snyder, David Moffitt, James Hunter and Mike Severence won the medley relay in 3:28.22 then the team of Snyder, Moffitt, Hunter and Tyler ran just .03 behind Cot- Results : CLEARFIELD.
