Friday evening Cristina Xibley, last year's Miss Liberty Belle, crowned the new queen to begin this year's independence Day Celebration in Provo. Pamela Drury and Marian Myers were chosen first and second attendants, respectively, to Miss Clark. Miss Talent was Ann Davis, and Margaret Hendricksen was voted as Miss Congeniality by the girls participating in the contest.
