V Provo Unitarians To Meet Tonight a? Wait Wheeler, left, and Bert havt gathered and repaired for Christmas. SANTA. HELPERS they Wallac with of the toys Lions Hold Start On Christmas Aid Zone Meet repairworK by Bert Wallace, a star guard, on the Provo Bull; dog football team, this past sea-iohave collected They all the tricycles, bicycles and motor scooter wheeled vehicles Jhey could get hold of, and have spent hours and hours in .repairing thern. ; It has been necessary at times to "rob" some vehicles "Jn order to equip others but they do have a yard full of 'wheels' that they have tried to repair and turn over to City Firemen and Elks for Christmas use. . One problem that Walt and his helpers are encountering is "that all of the vehicles turned lover to them do not have the required number of wheels. Other wheels they have picked up do not fit, and they have n. 10 or 15 bicycles, tricycles, etc., mat lack some parts. Other persons in the community may have worn out vehicles or parts that they have not thrown away that might be utilized to finish the. repair work on the unfinished vehicles they do have. It makes quite an impressive sight to see that bunch of wheels piled up that with a lit tle more work can be made available for a fine Christmas for boyf and girls who might be able to use one of these vehicles. The spirit of Christmas does burn pretty brightly in the hearts of some of Provo's citi- zenry. Kenneth B.
