Show V Scourers Dedicate New Building, Avard Beavers in Rites Highlighting Fellowship Week 12 Silver rr Dedication of the new head quarters buildirie and the Dresen- tation of 12 Silver Beaver awards featured the annual Fellowship Meeting of the Utah National Parks Boy Scout Council held Friday evening. ' Outstanding scouters who received the Silver Beaver awards as the highlight of the annual Provo-Ea- st banquet held at the Provo LDS Stake Recreation Center included James E. Bacon, Rptjselt; Moyle C. Blackliam, Moroni; Willis Clyde, Heber; WenClyde P. Crockett, Provo; dell J. Francis, Spanish Fork; C. Ray Gammon, Orem; Ray Grange, Huntington; William R. Grimshaw, Enoch; Earl Jolley, Tropic; Wilford M. Manwaring, EnSpringville; Arah Martineau, terprise, and Wayne R. American Fork. The Silver Beaver Award is presented for outstanding service to boyhood and. is the highest award given to scouters at the council level. Scouters from almost every discouncil area trict in the attended the banquet as well as the dedication of the council's headquarters, located at 250 W. Mc-Tag- . t - Jfc ft I y ng Hughes, council commissioner and patriarch of the Spanish Fork LDS Stake, offered the dedicatory prayer. An open house also was held Friday evening prior to the start of the banquet. Marcell Graham, warden at the Utah State Prison, was the principal speaker at the banquet and told the scouters that they faced a tremendous responsibility in their communities. He also stressed the importance of boy scouting in a boy's life. "We have no Eagle Scouts in our prisons," Warden Graham w. vv. uryae, presiaent oi me council, presided at the banquet program and dedication.
