Deer Valley Avalanche Rescue Dog Awareness Event The Deer Valley Avalanche Rescue Dogs and their handlers will be on the Plaza at Snow Park Lodge from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at Deer Valley. Guests can stop by and have their picture taken with the dogs and visit with their handlers. Deer Valley Avalanche Rescue Dog logo merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers, pins and mugs will be available for purchase and the proceeds will benefit the Avalanche Rescue Dog team. Park City Film Series: ‘I Am not Your Negro’ The Park City Film Series will screen Raoul Peck’s “I Am not Your Negro,” rated PG-13, through Sunday, March 26, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Saturday’s screening will start at 8 p.m. Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. This new documentary, nominated for an Academy Award, is an examination of race in America that uses renowned author James Baldwin’s original words and a flood of rich archival material. “I Am Not Your Negro” is a journey into black history that connects the past of the Civil Rights movement to the challenges of today. Spiritually-Centered Summer Camp Presentation A spiritually-centered summer camp presentation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at 2941 Estates Circle in Park City. Meet the Avalanche Dogs Canyons Village will present its avalanche rescue dogs at 1 p.m. every Saturday through April 16, at the Park City Summit Patrol on the top of Bonanza and Motherlode lifts.
