Mr. Brown was born Sept: 10, 1886, the son of Alma and Mary Ann Duke Brown. He was custodian of the Lincoln High School for 34 years and for Grandview LDS Ward for many years. He was superintendent of West Union Ganal for over !0 years. He is an elder in the LDS Church and was a Sunday School teacher in the Grandview Ward. Mrs. Brown was born April 26, at Wallsburg to oseph and Mary Ellen Murphy Kerby. She was magazine agent in the Relief Society for 12 years, teacher for 30 years and for many years she served as assistant secretary. In the Grandview Sunday School she was a teacher. The Browns have had nine children. Eight are living. They are George Kerby Brown, Mrs. Jay Bernidia, Mrs. Tony (Mary) (Ada) Medved and Mrs. Vernon (Ida) Damico, Provo; Mrs. Richard (Patta) Gray, Lehi; Mrs. Reid (Wanda) Clayson, Aberdeen, Ida.; Mrs. Frank (Bessie) Portland, Ore. and Mark 1880, " Gil-mor- e, Brown, Los Angeles, Calif.
