A good question, since this favorite pond to many angiers will close to fishing this year September 15, while other trout waters in general remain open until October 6. This corner has long advocated and will go along with the general opening and closing of all waters. Only exceptions should be that now and then stream or lake on lands where specific measures, or seasons are necessary. One opening and one closing for all waters possible tends to scatter the angling pressure and goodness knows we need to do that. Near as we can tell the main reason for the early closing of Fish Lake came about as a small group in Sevier County pressured the fish and game commission with a request for same. Best action to change same we can suggest is for any and all local Fish Lake anglers to ask for a regular season there next year. It would seem that what is, good for one water should be the same for another with no exceptions to satisfy the local interests without real reason for doing Yours for fun, Casey. so. move is to fit your choice.-I- t pri-ca- te 0ELUXE..
