Show School Bus Routes Listed For Provo Routes of school buses within the Provo School District were announced Saturday by district officials. Those affected by the service are students who live IVi miles from their school (15.5 blocks) for grade school children, and two miles (21 blocks) for junior an4 senior high school students. In cases where extreme traffic haxard exists, transportation may, be provided even though the child lives less than the minimum legal distance. Regular bus service for Provo High School will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 11. All other bus service will begin on Monday, Sept. 9. But Monday will be a special day due to registration and the buses will make the return runs at noon. In most cases high school and elementary school students will not ride the same bus. Boundary Changes There will be several boundary for the elementary changes schools this year. Also, starting time for the Provo High School has been changed to 8:30 a.m., and for the Grand view school to t a.m. These changes willthe make bus it necessary to alter schedules in use last year. There will be no, bus service for the children in the Special Education class for handicapped children at the Wasatch School since the bus run in use last year from the southwest to Wasatch will be. discontinued. Following is a list of the school bus schedules. The runs are numbered in parenthesis, with--th- e starting time and general area following: Provo High School All runs will begin at 7:45 a.m., and the following areas will be served: (1) Southeast (Provost area and South Spring ville Road). (2) Southwest (West of University Avenue and south of Sixth South). (3) Airport area and West Center Street. (4) West Park Subdivision. (5) Northwest (West Grandview).
