Elder Bell is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer L. Bell of Orem. He will serve in the Hawaiian mission. He is a graduate of the Ameri can Fork high school and semin ary and has attended BYU for the past two years where he took al his training. He is af filiated with the Val Hyric social unit and the Intercollegiate Knights, national service fraternity. Elder Bell entered the- mission home in Salt Lake City Sept. 11 and will sail from California Sept. 20. PAYSON Max Hill and Gerald Finch, LDS missionaries to Finland, have finally been assigned to districts where they can associate with each other at least once a week. Hill Is now at Tampere, a city of 40,000, and Finch is located eight miles in the suburbs. The two young' men report they have met Herbert Wilkinson, star athlete of the University of Utah, who has been, sent to Finland and Sweden from a British mission to teach basketball. Elders Finch and Hill are teaching the boys in Finland how to play football. The youths played on the Payson high school team together two years ago, of the team.
