He was also active in the community serving on the Tintic School Board, Secretary in the Miner's Union, a volunteer fireman and past Fire Chief, on the Eureka city council, and a Past Exalted Ruler in the Elk's Lodge. He was a hard worker and loved to watch any sport but enjoyed playing base ball. He especially loved his family and spending time with them hunting and fishing. We will miss him dearly. She was born elect lady as she was the only one of her family to embrace the restored gospel and endure to the end. She will be missed by her family and on Febru- ary 13. 1923 in Oakland, California to Henry Daniel Lee and Lorraine Frances Howard. She resided for over 80 years in California and moved to Utah in 2004 to enjoy the company of her children and grandchildren. Charlotte lived her early years in the California bay area and had many wonderful experiences as a young adult traveling to the east and working in Idaho. She loved her work as a food service manager for the public schools in Ridgecrest, California. She married Damon B. Edwards on May 23. 1942, who remained the love of her life until his passing in 2004. After becoming members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, their marriage was solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple in 1957. They became parents to eight children who they loved and served with great joy and happiness. Charlotte was a valiant member of the LDS religion and responded faithfully to the many callings extended to her by the Lord. She loved visiting with her many friends and family almost as much as she loved her chocolate.
